Cronin Hill Photography FAQ
FAQ
Q: What is required to save my date?
A: We require 50% of the package you choose to save and guarantee your day. The remaining
balance is due two weeks before the event. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, check and cash.
NOTE: Dates are limited and come on a first come, first serve basis, and are booked a year in advance. Prime dates are usually saved by the Thanksgiving holiday.
Q: Will you travel for our wedding?
A: Yes, we specialize in destination weddings and most of our clients are out of state. Whether it's a small wedding back home or some exotic location, we would be thrilled to shoot on location. However, travel fees would be required by the client. A complete all-inclusive package is available. Feel free to contact us for more information and to discuss your destination needs.
Q: Why do you prefer a lifestyle photojournalistic approach?
A: Remember your parent's wedding album... all those stuffy, awkward, and uncomfortable photos... you can almost see them saying the word, "cheese". Working in the wedding industry we've seen it all and the one thing that drives us completely mad is seeing a wedding photographer stop a bride and groom right in the middle of an important moment to pose, ask for a smile, or position them. We feel it's the photographers responsibility to anticipate a "moment", capturing it naturally as it happens, and without you ever knowing it.
Q: Are you film or digital? What kind of equipment do you use?
A: We are strictly digital and use a variety of three professional grade Canon bodies and lenses. We always carry a backup camera kit for incidentals. Apple computers and monitors are used to edit and present our work.
Q: What kind of lighting do you use?
A: We try to use natural light as much as possible. We also use external camera flash and at unique locations, studio lighting.
Q: Do you have assistant shooters?
A: Yes, having a second and sometimes guest shooters allows us to capture your event from multiple angles, giving us the artistic freedom to tell your wedding story.
Q: Why does all your packages come with a "pre-wedding session"?
A: This session accomplishes many things. First, think of our pre-wedding sessions as a get-to-know-you photo shoot. We'll look at how comfortable you are in front of the lens and work to find ways to achieve the best shots possible. And, you'll have a better understanding of how we work as a team. Second, after the session is edited we use select images for your event cards and reception slideshow. Lastly, you walk away with incredible photos that not only document this moment in your life but artistically tell your story as a couple. When was the last time you had professional photographers all to yourself for two or three hours... the possibilities are endless!
